One of the most common ring repairs is sizing! Seems that when we are young and newly engageged, our fingers are trim and we need smaller rings..... and then comes a few years, and suddenly those rings are hard to get on and off! Time to visit your jeweller and get them re-sized.

I very rarely "stretch" rings, when I size them. Stretching is a foolish way to add stress to the metal and to cause the band to narrow out to the point of premature wear. However, as foolish as it is, many jeweller will simply stretch their customers rings, instead of inserting metal into the band to preserve the shape and thickness of the band.

The following prices are to cut and insert a welded peice of metal into the band, thus preserving the integrity of the ring.

Special Information

The different prices listed on the following pages are to:

   A.     Size the ring

   B.     Check the stones for tightness and if any are loose, we will tighten them and may guarantee their loss for one year from the date of pickup.

   C.     Rhodium plate white gold rings after sizing to give them a “Platinum” like coating, thus making the white gold ring whiter and more resemble platinum.

The prices are devised by how many stones we will check, tighten and possibly guarantee. If the customer does not want their stones checked, tighten and guaranteed or if they do not want their white gold rhodium plated:

Mark the envelope: “No Guarantee on stones loss, customer did not want to have stones checked and tightened.” or “Do not Rhodium Plate.”

Our complete guarantee and warranty is outlined here.
